I could beat any sloth at the limbo
Yeah I could end any rat race without trouble
The television’s ablaze
With talk of the inane
But safely sat in self center
I listen perversely
I don’t have to be dressed
No I don’t have to be clean
I only need four walls
And the echo of traffic
With the RGB ambiently glowing
Don’t you knock on my door
Or bother calling my name
I don’t have to be approved
I don’t need to be renewed
I’m just waiting to subside
I could beat any sloth at the limbo
Yeah I could end any rat race without trouble
The television’s ablaze
With talk of the inane
But sitting here safely selfish
I listen perversely
I don’t have to be smart
No I don’t have to impress
I only need red light
And my blurred yellow vision
With the VDU erotically glowing
Don’t you knock on my door
Or bother calling my name
I don’t have to be approved
I don’t need to be renewed
I’m just waiting to subside
If I could shake these blues
If I could stop this ruse
I would be over the moon
(x4)
Over the moon
I’m approaching a state of confusion
Crossing paths with another dimension
The television is on
The day draws to a close
Though solipsistically sleepy
There’s no world past my pillow
The television’s abla – ha – haze (x4)
